Gift Idea for Giving Money
I was invited to a birthday party and decided to give money, because I don’t know the host well enough to come up with a nice gift.
I folded the bills into a boat and a fish and sticked it to a piece of paper, where I created a sea like effect by drawing waves with a blue sharpie tinted and wet q-tip. On the back, I wrote some birthday wishes.
This is the quick and easy version. You can definitely make it prettier and more interesting.
- If you have more bills, you can fold more fish or other things. [Five euros is the smallest bill we have, but you can make plenty of fish with one dollar bills.
- You can draw sea weeds, corals, mountains and much more.
- You can put the fish on an actual thread and leave it hanging.
- You can use coins for bubbles.
- much more…
Random Facts About Me
I once folded an elephant from a one dollar bill and keep it as a bookmark in “Water for Elephants”.
When I worked as a waitress, a guest once gave me the tip as an airplane. That made my night!
